After defeating Olympiacos on the road for EuroLeague, Maccabi Tel Aviv confirmed its recent top notch shape once more, by absolutely dominating Maccabi Kiryat 91 – 67 for the Israeli League.
Coach Hadar’s players were superior from start to finish, making short work of their opponents and ultimately cruising towards victory. Their seventh in the championship which improved their record to 7-1.
Andrew Goudelock paced the winning side in scoring with 19 points (plus 5 assists), while Gal Mekel dropped 13 points and dished 9 assists registering the highest PIR (24) among his teammates. Maik Zirbes also added 12 points and 7 rebounds.
For Maccabi Kiryat, Justin Carter finished the match with 18 points and Tyshawn Taylor with 16.
