Gaziantep tried its best, but the quality of Anadolu Efes, even in a mediocre performance, made the difference. The team of coach Velimir Perasovic got the 75-70 win with Cedi Osman scoring 16 points.
It was a game decided in the last minute, as Gaziantep pressured until the end the leaders of BSL, but with Cedi, Jayson Granger (14 p. 6 as.) and Derrick Brown (13 p. 7 r.) on the court, they had the answers. Alen Omic and Thomas Heurtel were not used in this game by Anadolu Efes, due to the restrictions of the Turkish league for foreign players.
For the losing side Andy Rautins had 18 points, Marcus Denmon who made an amazing three pointer behind the half court, but after the final buzzer, had 15 points and Devon Jefferson was impressive with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Efes has now a 8-1 record, while Gaziantep is left at 3-6.
