Khimki guard Alexey Shved has been named the VTB United League’s November MVP. The monthly MVP awards are decided by the League and TASS information agency.
Shved played in four games in November, averaging 19 points, 4.3 assists, and 2.8 rebounds in leading his team to a 4-0 record, including a win over UNICS Kazan. Shved beat out Lokomotiv-Kuban’s Mardy Collins and CSKA’s Vitaly Fridzon who were also candidates for the award.
Khimki now has 6-1 wins and only the duo of CSKA Moscow and Unics Kazan has a better record (7-1)
