Only fitting that the night in which Nicolo Melli registered one career-high after the other would earn him EuroLeague Weekly MVP honors.
The Italian forward of Brose Bamberg was simply sublime against Maccabi Tel Aviv leading his team to a stunning 85 – 70 victory on the road with some pretty remarkable numbers.
Melli dropped 27 points (on 4/8 2-pointers, 6/8 from beyond the arc), grabbed 14 rebounds and recorded a PIR of 40! All new personal bests in his EuroLeague career.
His evaluation index rating was higher than than any other player’s from Week 11 games since the second best performance came by Ekpe Udoh who led Fenerbahce to win over Crvena Zvezda with a PIR of 34 and an output we havent’ seen since 2001!
