Week 12 of the Spanish league was concluded with Real beating Bilbao Basket 77 – 85 on the road.
Gustavo Ayon led the Whites with 14 points and 6 rebounds, Anthony Randolph had 13, Luka Donicic added 12 and 4 assists, while Jeffery Taylor and Jaycee Carroll shared 11 points.
For Bilbao, Ivan Buva’s 23 points weren’t enough to keep the hosts on top of the game. Jonathan Tabu also contributed 15 for his team.
Real managed to keep its composure in the final 2 minutes of the game when the hosts attempted a comeback and escaped Bilbao with a win to keep the top position in the standings.
Earlier, Barcelona fell to Andorra on the road, while Baskonia defended its homecourt against Estudiantes.
