Unics Kazan beat Zenit St. Petersburg on the road and remained on the top of the VTB League standings, tied with CSKA Moscow.
Behind 20 points by Keith Langford and a double double by Quino Colom (14 p., 12 as., 8 r.), thanks to a 9-1 in the third quarter, the guests got the lead and never lost it until the end. Janis Timma (27 p.) and Stefan Markovic (13 p. 6 as.) were the best of the hosts.
Unics Kazan and CSKA Moscow, which beat VEF Riga, have now a 8-1, followed by Khimki (7-1) which had an easy task over Parma and Lokomotiv Kuban (7-2) which prevailed over Astana, while Zenit dropped to the fifth spot of the standings (6-2).
