The 12th Week of the French Pro A league is down in the history books with Monaco retains its position as leader of the standings and Chalon/Saone in close distance after a crushing victory over the defending champs.
Indeed, thanks to a superlative offensive output and a dizzling John Roberson, coach Choulet’s team made short work of Villeurbanne that looked almost helpless. Even though the champs began the match ahead 25 – 22 they completely fell apart and are now fifth in the standings.
As for the Monegasques, they had an easy road venture against Dijon that couldn’t be of serious opposition. Nanterre made sure to reduce the space in the second place of the standings, after beating Pau Orthez and kicking them down to the third position.
