Bayern Munich had already sealed second place in Group C but that didn’t stop them from easily beating Buducnost 80- 66 leaving the Montenegrins winless in the competition.
It was a comfortable victory for coach Sasa Djordjevic and co. thanks to the way they performed in the second half. Their guests remained competitive for the first twenty minutes (36 – 31) but a 22 – 13 third quarter cleared the situation in favor of the Bavarian team.
Maxi Kleber dropped 13 points (4/5 from downtown) and 6 assists for the winning side, while Nihad Dedovic added 13 and 5 rebounds. Devin Booker and Ondrej Balvin had 12 points plus 6 rebounds each.
J.R. Reynolds was the top performer of Buducnost with 17 points and 5 rebounds.
