Unics Kazan bounced back from its Euroleague loss to Baskonia earlier in the week, by beating Avtodor Saratov 77-84 on the road. The visiting team improved to 9-1 in the league’s standings, claiming the top position along with CSKA Moscow.
Keith Langford was the first scorer of his team with 20 points, Joaquin Colom followed with 13 and Artsiom Parakhouski with 11. For the hosts, ex Panathinaikos’ Vince Hunter scored 20 points.
With less than a minute to go, Unics was up by 3 and Avtodor kept pressing, though two baskets by Parakhouski gave the visitors the win.
