Once more Nando De Colo did not play, but Aaron Jackson returned after missing the Euroleague versus Barcelona and scored 20 points. Milos Teodosic had 16 and 9 assists, while Vitaly Fridzon had 19 points as CSKA Moscow beat Khimki 95-79.
The “army team” had things under control from the get go and Khimki never had the lead in the game. Jacob Pullen with 14 points was the top scorer of the losing side. CSKA remains tied on the top of the VTB League standings with Unics, having a 9-1 record, while Khimki is left at 7-2.
In the two other early Sunday games of the league, Nizhny Novgorod beat Parma 115-94 (Boynton 21 p.) and Enisey prevailed over Tsmoki Minsk 88-70 (Braimoh 21 p.). Still Nizhny Novgorod has just a 2-7 record after beating the winless Parma (0-10) and Enisey is 7th in the standings at 5-5, while Minsk has a bad 3-7 record.
