Baskonia will face Panathinaikos on the road and the team may have Andrea Bargnani back in action.
As coach Sito Alonso said in today’s press conference: “Bargnani will travel with us in Athens and we will decide before the game if he is healthy enough to help us”. It’s obvious that Bargnani has more than a good chance to be on the court, against last season’s leader of Baskonia, Giannis Bourousis.
So far the Italian big man has played in 7 Euroleague games, the last one against Galatasaray three weeks ago. Even without him fully active, Baskonia has a 9-4 record, good enough for a tie in the second spot of the standings with Real Madrid and Olympiacos.
