Barcelona came back from 3-game losing strike and took down Armani Milano at home with 89-75. The Blaugranas improved their record to 6-8, while Milano now stands at 4-10.

Ante Tomic was dominant from inside the paint once again and led the winners with 19 points and 6 rebounds, Petteri Koponen scored 15 points, Aleksandar Vezenkov added 13, while Tyrese Rice finished the game with a double double of 10 points and 11 assists!

For the Italian team, Rakim Sanders’ outstanding 27-point performance wasn’t enough to keep the hosts alive in Spain. Milan Macvan followed with 11 points.

The whole game has been a one-team show, as Barcelona established its pace from the first minutes of the game. With a 13-point lead after the first period, it was certain that Jasmin Repesa’s team was on to a rough start, as Barcelona led 32-19. The second period was more balanced in terms of scoring, still the hosts were up 49-35 at halftime.

Not much changed in the second half, with Barcelona only accelerating in the third period. Sanders was the only real threat for the Spanish team and the one who caused just enough trouble to keep the game going. Still, a 19-point lead of 72-51 after 30 minutes wasn’t flattering for the visiting team.

The final period was the cherry on top of this spectacular win for Barcelona, with coach Bartzokas trying and testing his players with much less pressure. This marks an important and ego boosting team for the hosts and a much needed one.
