Zeljko Obradovic was honored with the “Lifetime Achievement” award for his contribution to Serbian sports, in a ceremony that took place in Belgrade.
The most celebrated coach in the history of European basketball, was honored by Serbia’s Sports Association. During the ceremony, a presentation which summarized his career as a player and coach was displayed and then Obradovic received his award.
Former Serbian iconic players like Predrag Danilovic, Dejan Bodiroga and Dejan Tomasevic, who have won all sorts of titles in club and national team level with Obradovic as their head coach, were present in the ceremony.
Apart from Obradovic, Serbia’s Sports Association also honored Svetlana Kitic, one of the country’s most important female handball players.
