The perfect score (4 out of 4) in Thursday’s predictions was missed in the details. Here’s the analysis for the last round of 2016 and the first phase of the EuroLeague!
The only point that wasn’t confirmed from the first games of the 15th round was Zalgiris’s Over 80,5, with the Lithuanians defeating Milan easily, scoring just 2 points in the last three minutes of the game.
Let’s take a look at tonight’s games!
Unics Kazan – Panathinaikos
Unics Kazan only have five wins, but are coming off two wins in a row and want to rekindle their hopes by taking advantage of their home court. The Russians have a small rotation, but they’ve managed to do some damage. Panathinaikos, on the other side, are perhaps the most in-form team in the EuroLeague with four consecutive wins. The greens have the momentum, but it’s safer to bet on their good defense. Panathinaikos haven’t conceded more than 78,5 points in any of their last five games and the Under in Unics’s points (@Stoiximan 1,80) is quite probable.
Galatasaray – Bamberg
Galatasaray continues to be in a state of disarray, with only one win in the last five games and Ataman still not having settled on a definite roster. Bamberg, on the other side, have only a win more, but they are the definition of a team. The Germans have a small rotation (McNeal is expected to make his debut), but against Galata this isn’t going to be a problem. They are in form with three wins in their last four games. Even though the game is something like a “final” for Galatasaray, Bamberg have a small advantage for the win (@Bet365 1,76). The Under for the home team would also be a good option, but it’s better not to risk it.
Barcelona – Darussafaka
Barcelona are trying to bounce back and recover some lost ground in the standings. Before their win over Milan in the last round, they only had one win in their last seven games. The Catalans definitely have room for improvement and they want to slowly get on track for the top eight. Darussafaka have three wins in a row over Real, Fenerbahce and Maccabi and they’re certainly having a good… spell. The point limit is very low (150,5) and so it’s preferable to go with the win for the Blaugrana by a margin greater than 3,5 points (@Stoiximan 1,73).
The choices:
Unics Kazan – Panathinaikos Unics Kazan Under 78,5 points
Galatasaray – Bamberg 2
Barcelona – Darussafaka (+3,5) 1
