A superb double-double courtesy of Devin Booker and an overall powerful defensive output helped Bayern Munich leave Ulm with a 68 – 57 victory in Eurocup Top 16.
Booker amassed 19 points and 15 rebounds for a 33 in PIR, plus helped the Bavarians in many of their key stops with which they destroyed their opponents’ offensive game. With Per Gunther sidelined, Ulm was forced to a season low in scoring, with a particularly horrid third quarter where it produced only 8 points.
That was when Bayern escaped with a double-digit lead, 40 – 54 which set them on the path to victory and an ideal start in Group F of the competition.
