Lokomotiv forced Unics Kazan to its second loss of the season with 75-64, while improving its record to 9-2.
Kevin Jones was the first scorer for the winners with 15 points, Matt Janning followed with 13 and Ryan Broekhoff had 12.
Orlando Johnson scored 16 points for the visiting team, Keith Langford added 14, while Joaquin Colom and Evgeny Voronov shared 12 points each.
Unics was in charge of the game in the first half and even led with 10 points halfway through the third period, 44–54, yet two decisive shots by Janning, the momentum of the game turned into Lokomotiv’s favor who got the lead after 30 minutes, 55–54.
Baburin succeeded from afar to give the hosts a 4–point breather in the beginning of the final period. Still Unics Kazan now has a 10-2 record and remains second in the VTB League standings.
