Alen Omic’s days in Istanbul seem to be numbered. Anadolu Efes wants to replace him and is in constant contact with Cedevita Zagreb in order to “trade” the Slovenian center with Miro Bilan.
However, so far Cedevita is not eager to part ways with one of their top players who happens to be also Croatian, but Anadolu Efes is still trying to make the “trade” happen, offering Omic and a buy out to the Croatian champs.
An other option for Anadolu Efes is Kenny Kadji, but with Julian Wright also in talks about leaving Tranbzonspor, nothing is concrete yet. Kadji will be eligible to play right away both in the Euroleague and in the Turkish BSL with Anadolu Efes if the deal is completed. The 2015 Italian league champions with Sassari is averaging 13.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists so far with Trabzonspor.
As for Omic, he may end up in Unicaja as Spanish portal “Gigantes” reported, but there are also other options for him in the case that he leaves Anadolu Efes.
