With five players scoring in double digits and by dominating in the second half, Bayern Munich triumphed 90 – 74 over Khimki Moscow taking its second victory in the EuroCup Top 16.
Coach Djordjevic’s guys had an excellent rhythm in their offensive game after the break, forcing 51 points on their opponents while allowing only 33. Bryce Taylor had 15 points, Vladimir Lucic 14, as much as Devin Booker who also grabbed 7 rebounds. Reggie Redding added 13 points and Danilo Barthel 10 plus 6 rebounds.
After leading 41 – 38 in the first half, Khimki crumbled down, mostly defensively, failing to adapt in their opponents’ fast-paced tempo. The duo of Jacob Pullen (17 points) and Alexey Shved (16 points) led all scorers for the Russian squad.
While the Bavarians are now first in the standings of Group F, Khimki is tied with Lietkabelis at the second place with 1-1 record.
