Nemanja Dangubic finished with 13 points plus 8 rebounds and Marko Simonovic added 11 points as Crvena Zvezda remained perfect in ABA League by beating Krka Novo Mesto 79 – 62.
The winning streak of the defending champs is now extended to an incredible 18/18 and their reign in the standings is close to undisputed. Meanwhile, Krka remains in a struggle, being at the bottom of the classification table with a 5 – 13 record.
Marko Lukovic stood out from the losing side with 20 points plus 6 rebounds.
Red Star grabbed an early double-digit lead by finishing the first quarter ahead 24 – 14 and simply never looked back after it. Coach Radonjic’s players once again put some excellent defense on court, allowing their opponents only 42 points after 30 minutes of playing time.
