Barcelona officially announced the addition of Vitor Faverani. The Brazilian center joins his new team arriving from Murcia where he was playing since December 2015.
Faverani has signed a contract for the remainder of the season. The deal includes a renewal option by the club until 2018. He’s eligible to join Barcelona’s efforts in EuroLeague immediately since he didn’t participate in the competition this year.
The 28-year-old big guy has averaged 11 points, 4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in Eurocup this season along with 9.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in the Spanish league.
