The draw of the Spanish “Copa Del Rey” which will be held in Vitoria between 16 and 19 of February was held today and the field of the tournament was set.
The quarterfinals are the following: Real Madrid – Andorra, Tenerife – Baskonia, Valencia – Gran Canaria and FC Barcelona – Unicaja
The winners of the games Real Madrid vs Andorra and Tenerife vs Baskonia will face each other in the semifinal and the same will happen with the winners of Valencia vs Gran Canaria and FC Barcelona vs Unicaja. That means that a final between Real Madrid and Barcelona is possible.
The final eight tournament format which is used for years in “Copa Del Rey” has became the standard for most other European domestic cups tournament.
