Sudden problem for Fenerbahce ahead of the crucial today’s (19/1) game against Panathinaikos for the 18th round of the EuroLeague regular season. The Turkish club announced that Ekpe Udoh will miss the match due to a minor injury on his right hamstring.
This is a major absence for Fenerbahce since Udoh averages 12.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.1 blocks and 1.8 assists per game. Plus, his impact on both ends goes beyond what numbers portray.
Fenerbahce and Panathinaikos are tied in the EuroLeague standings with a 10 – 7 record. The Greek team had won the game for the first leg of the regular season 81 – 70.
