EA7 Emporio Armani Milano played with fire but did not get burned. The Italians got the 92-87 win over Galatasaray with Krunoslav Simon scoring 19 points and sealind the win.
The Croatian forward with the help by Miroslav Raduljica (13 p.) managed to weather the storm at the end and got a valuable win. Galatasaray started the game with a 13-5, but things changed pretty quick. At the end of the first quarter the hosts had the lead 23-21 and at half time a 49-39 advantage behind 11 points by Raduljica and 10 by Mantas Kalnietis.
The hosts entered the last period leading by 11 points, but Galatasaray reacted and with a 16-2 run got a three points lead (76-73). And then Simon took things upon his hands. With a big three and an assist to Jamel McLean, Milano got the 78-76 lead and then Simon again with a three made the score 83-78. After that Galatasaray couldn’t get back into stricking distance.
Bruno Fitipaldo and Sinan Guler scored 17 points each, Austin Daye added 14 points, still in the end Milano closed the game the right way and now the two teams are tied with a 5-13 record.
