With a crucial three pointer in the end, Matt Janning saved Lokomotiv that defeated Enisey on the road, 86-85. The visitors improved to 11-2, one spot behind CSKA, while Enisey dropped to 5-9, only one spot up on Avtodor, Nizhny Novgorod and Tsmoki-Minsk in the fight for the playoffs.
Following 85-81 with 30 seconds remaining, the visitors’ Kevin Jones, who scored a game-high 26, cut the deficit to two with a shot, then Loko sent Anthony Hilliard to the ‘charity line’ for two free throws, where he missed both. In almost dead-shotclock time, Janning drilled the game-winning three for the visitors and finished the game with 13 points. Ian Vougioukas added 14 more for the winners.
Khimki beat Kalev at home 81-57, and improved to 10-3 in the standings while the latter is second to last on the board with a 2-11 record.
Alexey Shved led the winners with 18 points and 6 assists, Marko Todorovic added 13 more and 7 rebounds.
For Kalev, Mickell Gladness scored 12 points.
