Another step towards the Basketball Champions League playoffs made by JDA Dijon with the 84-77 win against PAOK on Wednesday evening.

David Holston was missing almost everything up to the last minute, but his clutch three with 56 seconds to go followed up with another bucket got the French side to a safe distance. Eight points, eight dimes and six rebounds the tally for the 33-year-old point guard.

Laurent Legnam’s team improved to 8-3 in Group D with Alexandre Chassang and Lamonte Ulmer sharing a team-high 15 points. Rasheed Sulaimon added 12 points in the Regular Season Round 11 contest.

Dijon tipped off the second half launching a 12-0 run. The hosts were not done just yet, but Kostas Charalampidis’ players ran out of time with Holston taking charge.

Adam Smith went for 17 points and Antwaine Wiggins finished with 15 in losing effort at the PAOK Sports Arena. The Greek outlet is now down 4-7 in BCL.

A scary moment took place at the end of the third quarter. Floored Stavros Schizas was hit by an inadvertent knee and remained down for several minutes. Fortunately got back up and went to the locker room aided by game doctors.
