Although Manresa had a better start, Turk Telekom turned the tables in the second half and got a 78-72 home win in Basketball Champions League.
Kyle Wiltjer led the charge with 22 points while TJ Campbell followed with 18 and Nick Johnson 16 points.
For Manresa, which played with traveled to Turkey with just seven players due to various injuries and flu, Pere Tomas scored 26 points in addition to Luke Nelson’s 17 points.
Manresa was up 23-22 after ten minutes and 50-41 at halftime. However, the shortened Spanish roster couldn’t hold on as Turk Telekom took over in the second half going ahead 65-59 at the end of the third quarter and kept the distance until the end.
Turk Telekom will temporarily take over the top of Group A with 8-3 while Manresa is behind with a 7-4 record.
