AEK Athens announced the addition of 36-year-old Nikos Zisis, confirming Eurohoops prior reports, following Joventut Badalona’s press release that confirmed the player’s departure earlier on Friday.
Zisis started his professional career with AEK at the dawn of the 21st century. Left in 2005 after capturing the Greek League championship in 2002 and the Greek Cup in 2001. Since moved his talents from Italy and Russia to Spain, Turkey and Germany.
As for his 2019-20 campaign, averaged 8.9 points, 3.8 assists and 1.5 rebounds per 7DAYS EuroCup appearance, 6.1 points per ACB contest. Up next his Basketball Champions League and Basket League comebacks.
