A game to remember for Robin Benzing with Casademont Zaragoza strolling to the 105-73 victory against JDA Dijon at the Palais des Sport Jean-Michel Geoffroy. The Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 12 win punched in a playoffs ticket for Porfirio Fisac’s side.
Benzing, 32, made a career-best eight three-pointers en route for his 32 points, one point shy from another personal-high. Nemanja Radovic chipped in with 18 points and Nicolas Brussino with 16.
Rasheed Sulaimon went for a team-high 19 points. Jeremy Leloup and Richard Solomon followed with 12 points each for Laurent Legnam’s team.
Both teams are now 8-4 in Group D. Home-court advantage for the playoffs is the remaining target for Tuesday’s rivals with a couple of games to go.
