Neptunas Klaipeda was on a four-game skid in all competitions but managed to bounce back with a 93-68 home win against Telekom Baskets Bonn in Basketball Champions League.
The Lithuanian squad improved to 5-7 in Group D, together with Falco Szombathely and Happy Casa Brindisi as they chase the fourth-placed Besiktas (6-6). Bonn stayed third with a 7-5 record.
Deividas Gailius led the way with 25 points followed by Osvaldas Olisevicius with 24 while Zygimantas Janavicius notched a double-double with 16 points and ten assists.
For Bonn, Benjamin Simons scored 14 in addition to Bojan Subotic and Trey Mc Kinney Jones’ 11 points each.
Neptunas was off to a good start leading 16-6 early and staying ahead by halftime (43-32). They kept going after the break, increased the gap to 67-47 late in the third and left no chance for a comeback in the final period, sealing the win.
