The coronavirus spreading to the province of Burgos alerts Dinamo Sassari ahead of its road game against San Pablo Burgos. The Italian side informed via press release on Monday of its request to play behind closed doors at the Coliseum Burgos on Tuesday noting that otherwise, the team will depart without competing in the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 Game 2 contest.
Down 1-0 in the best-of-three series, potentially forfeiting the match will take the Italian outlet out of the competition. Facing elimination, Sassari added that the health of the players and members of the coaching staff during the trip to Spain is the top priority.
