For health reasons with the coronavirus outbreak reaching Greece, Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem is taking its own measures ahead of Basketball Champions League Round of 16 Game 2 versus Peristeri winmasters.
The Israeli club will stay in isolation during its stay in Athens. The players will be eating in their own dining room, staying in their hotel rooms, and moving to the gym only for practice and the game itself. While some of our habits are usual for every road game, Hapoel is trying to be cautious and that’s why no Israeli fans have traveled together with the team, like it happened in the regular season game against AEK which was also held in Athens.
Similar to Game 1 in Israel, Game 2 will also be played behind closed doors. The Greek Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that all sporting events in the country will be contested without fans for the next two weeks.
