Iberostar Tenerife announced its new deal with Marcelinho Huertas that will bind the two sides through the 2021-22 season.
The 37-year-old Brazilian guard averaged 12 points, 8.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in his debut season in Basketball Champions League, for which he talked to Eurohoops about a few days prior.
Huertas arrived at Tenerife from Baskonia, where he played for two seasons, marking his second stint with the team since he first joined in 2009.
After four years in Barcelona between 2011 and 2015, he made the jump to the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers, spending two seasons with the team before his return to Europe.
