The Partizan Belgrade board of directors met today in Belgrade for a discussion that also included whether the team will stay in EuroLeague Basketball’s EuroCup or move to FIBA’s Basketball Champions League in 2020-2021.
According to information that was published by Partizan, a number of board members voted for the club to join the Basketball Champions League. Others voted for the team to remain in EuroCup.
Partizan president Ostoja Mihailovic will hold a press conference on Friday (June 5) to announce in which competition the team is planning to play next season. Mihailovic was previously hoping that Partizan would be granted a spot in the 2020-2021 EuroLeague but the top-tier continental competition decided to not have any new admissions for the upcoming season.
