Zaragoza and guard Dylan Ennis have agreed to a one-year extension, the Spanish club announced. This deal will keep Ennis on the team for a second straight season.
Ennis joined Zaragoza on November 2019 after beginning the season with AS Monaco. The Canadian player averaged 12.4 points, 4.4 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 25.1 minutes in the Basketball Champions League plus 11.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 21.04 minutes of the Spanish ACB League, before the season’s suspension.
“I feel great,” Ennis said per Zaragoza’s website. “I sat down with my representatives to see options but Zaragoza was always number one. Everything has influenced my decision: both my wife an daughter have made friends here. I like the squad and the fans are great. People are very nice and have treated me phenomenally on and off the court.”
Ennis and Zaragoza are currently practicing ahead of Spanish League’s Final Phase in Valencia that will begin on June 17.
