Casademont Zaragoza inked Nicolas Brussino to a one-year contract extension, the Spanish team announced on Monday.
After earning a silver medal with Argentina in the 2019 FIBA World Cup, the 27-year-old swingman signed a two-year contract to join Zaragoza. Under the terms of the new agreement, his contract now runs through the 2021-22 season.
The former NBA player put up 11.2 points, 4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game in his second Basketball Champions season following his 2018-19 run with Iberostar Tenerife. His performances helped his side progress to the Final Eight set to conclude the 2019-20 season in September.
The 2019-20 ACB season will restart next week with Zaragoza facing San Pablo Burgos in the opening round of the final stage. Brussino shot his way to 9.8 points per contest prior to the suspension, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
