Casademont Zaragoza announced that the club has extended the contract with Jonathan Barreiro for three more years.
The 23-year-old has been with Zaragoza for the past four years and this past season, he averaged 6.3 points and 4.4 rebounds (in 18 minutes) over 39 games split between Basketball Champions League and the Spanish League.
“I am very happy. From the first moment, people welcomed me and helped me improve both on and off the track. Seeing the club go for young people who are already sharing the locker room with us is saying a lot about the youth team and the club’s work. They are a very important pillar in the day to day and hopefully, they can enjoy many joys. The first basket will be dedicated to the ‘red tide’,” Barreiro said.
