Brose Bamberg announced that Roel Moors no longer holds the head coaching position at the German club. Assistant Thomas Crab is out as well.
Moors, 41, signed a two-year contract last June after announcing his departure from the Telenet Giants Antwerp. Under his guidance, Bamberg did not make it through to the Basketball Champions League playoffs and suffered a quarterfinals elimination upon the resumption of the 2019-20 easyCredit BBL season. His side was 12-9 in Germany’s league prior to the hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The German club plans to appoint its next head coach within the next couple of weeks.
