Fortitudo Bologna added Ethan Happ, the Italian team announced on Friday.
Coming out of Wisconsin, the 24-year-old American big signed with Olympiacos but spend the majority of his rookie 2019-20 season in Italy loaned to Vanoli Cremona. He will continue in the LBA Serie A adding the Basketball Champions League to his list of competitions by joining the club based in Bologna.
After one single Turkish Airlines EuroLeague appearance, Happ turned some heads in Italy posting 18.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.0 steals, and 0.9 blocks per contest in the domestic league. He made his way to 12 matches before the decision to cancel the remainder of the campaign, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
