Rytas Vilnius announced that the club has reached an agreement with Martynas Echodas for another year.
“It’s nice to feel this kind of attention from the fans, the coach and the team management. “It’s a very interesting season, so I’m glad we’ll fight together again,” Echodas said.
The 23-year-old Lithuanian big averaged 9.7 points and 4.9 rebounds in the domestic league while in EuroCup, he posted 9.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
Echodas has been with Rytas since 2017 and won the 2019 Mindaugas Cup with the team while he was named the EuroCup Rising Star the same year.
Rytas’ new coach Donaldas Kairys has been assembling the squad for the upcoming season and he will also be able to count on Rokas Gustys and Arnas Butkevicius.
