San Pablo Burgos announced the addition of veteran guard Omar Cook. The American player signed a one-year deal with the team and will remain in Spain for the fourth straight year and eighth overall in his career.
Cook, 38, spent 2019-2020 with Gran Canaria. He averaged 7.8 points, 6.9 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 27:37 minutes over 27 games for 11.5 PIR, helping Gran Canaria make the Spanish ACB League’s Final Phase.
Throughout his career, Cook has played for such teams as Unicaja Malaga, Baskonia, Buducnost, Olimpia Milano, Estudiantes and Rytas Vilnius.
