Hapoel Jerusalem announced they have signed power forward/center TaShawn Thomas to a new deal Wednesday.
27-year-old Thomas has spent the previous two seasons with Hapoel, while he ranked among the team’s top scorers during the 2019-20 campaign with 15.6 points, six rebounds and 2.1 assists in 16 Basketball Champions League games.
During his time with Hapoel, Thomas has won three Israeli State Cups (2018-20), an Israeli League Cup in 2019, where he also won the MVP honors. The American big man was also named Winner League’s Best Defender for the 2018-19 season.
