Hapoel Jerusalem announced that the club has reached a deal with J’Covan Brown who will return for another season with the team.
Per Hapoel Jerusalem:
J’Covan returns to the arena! Hapoel is very happy to announce that guard J’Covan Brown will be wearing the red uniform next season. Brown has been one of the outstanding players at Hapoel, the league and BCL for the past two years and has won with the team two state trophies (most recently winning the MVP title), the Winner’s Cup and provided many moments of happiness to the fans.
Last season in the Hapoel uniform Jacob Brown scored 15.4 points, delivered 5.9 assists and took 3 rebounds per game in 26 minutes on the floor. In the BCL, Brown scored 14.3 points, handed out 5 assists and took 3.8 rebounds in 26.6 minutes on the floor.
The team’s coach, Oded Kattash, said after the signing: “I am happy that the pieces in the puzzle connect and that J’Covan will also continue with us next season. It is no secret that he is a significant element in our team. I am sure the fans are happy that we were able to keep him as well. Players from last season and together with two other foreigners who joined, I am sure we will have a strong and dominant team.”
