Hapoel Jerusalem announced that the club acquired forward Luka Mitrovic for the upcoming Final Eight tournament of the Basketball Champions League. The contract includes a team option to keep the Serbian player for the rest of the season.
Mitrovic spent 2019-2020 in Spain with Manresa. He averaged 7.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in the Basketball Champions League plus 8.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in the Spanish ACB League.
Before Manresa, Mitrovic was a longtime player of Crvena Zvezda with which he served also as team captain. He also played for such teams as Brose Bamberg and Murcia.
