Tofas was scheduled for a friendly game against Buyukcekmece on September 2 but it will be postponed as will other preseason activities of the team due to three COVID-19 positives among players.
Per TOFAS:
Our TOFAŞ Basketball Team, which has been preparing for the 2020-2021 season since August 17, passed the Covid-19 PCR screening test on Monday, August 31, before the preparatory matches to be played within the scope of the new season. After the tests performed by our Tofaş Basketball A Team, our players and our personnel, by our health partner Bursa Medicana Hospital, it was determined that the results of our 3 players were positive.
The isolation and treatment process of our players who do not have clinical complaints has started and the public will continue to be informed about the issue.
The preparation match of our Tofaş Basketball Team, which was planned to be played with Büyükçekmece Basketball, one of the ING Basketball Super League teams, at our Mustafa V. Koç Sports Facilities on Wednesday, September 2, was also canceled.
