Galatasaray announced the addition of American forward Johnathan Williams for the 2020-2021 season.
Williams, 25, last played with the Washington Wizards, averaging 5.5 points and 6.3 rebounds in 20.5 minutes over six matches, including four games in the Orlando bubble. He had begun 2019-2020 with Israeli side Maccabi Rishon with which he had 11.7 points and 9.1 rebounds before joining the Wizards on a two-way contract in December.
Galatasaray and Williams will be competing in the Basketball Champions League in 2020-2021. It will be the club’s and the player’s first-time appearance in the competition.
