Nymburk has signed 24-year old big man Stephen Zimmerman to a deal ahead of the Basketball Champions League Final Eight in Athens, per the team’s announcement Friday.
Zimmerman last played for Telekom Baskets Bonn in the 2019-20 season, where he posted an average of 8.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest in his first European experience. He was set to join Polski Cukier Torun this season, though he opted for his BCL return.
Zimmerman was selected by the Orlando Magic in the second round of the 2016 NBA draft, before moving to the G-League with Erie BayHawks, Southbay Lakers, and Westchester Knicks.
