Suleiman Braimoh on Final Eight Countdown: Our job is not to speculate but go out and work

By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

Suleiman Braimoh was the latest guest on Eurohoops’ Basketball Champions League Final Eight Countdown as he talked about how Hapoel Jerusalem is getting ready for the tournament as well as if they see themselves as favorites to go all the way.

The 30-year-old big stayed humble and noted that it’s not his nor his teammates’ job to think about that, but to stay focused on the challenge, work hard, improve and go one step at a time until their road ends.

“I don’t really buy the talk about favorites, it’s for the media, the people who cover us and watch the game to talk about. I tell my teammates, being the leader that I am, don’t focus on the outside. Our job is to listen to the coach and get better every day. The management put together a team they believe, and I believe with them, should be and has a chance to win the Champions League. Our job as players is not to speculate, not to say what we can or can’t do – it’s to go out there, work hard, get better every day, follow the game plan, follow our system. And whatever happens, happens.”
