After Tsmoki-Minsk and Keravnos, two more teams sealed a Basketball Champions League regular season ticket, completing the qualifiers and completing the lineup for the 2020-21 season.
Belfius Mons-Hainaut – Bakken Bears 71-86
Bakken Bears put on a pretty convincing display against Belfius Mons as they fairly quickly pulled on ahead. They were up 42-29 near the end of halftime and already up by 26 points (68-42) near the end of the third quarter.
Michel Diouf led the way with 18 points on 8-11 shooting while also grabbing nine rebounds. Ryan Evans added 14 and DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell 12 points.
For Belfius, Arik Smith scored 21 in addition to Auston Barnes’s 17 points. Skylar Spencer logged a double-double with 14 points and 15 boards.
Igokea – Sporting CP 70-64
Igokea and Sporting played a tough low-scoring game with the 9-0 run in favor of the former at the start of the fourth quarter being crucial on their path to victory, although the Portuguese had a fair shot until the end.
Jackie Carmichael scored 16 points for the Bosnian team followed by Nikola Jovanovic with 15 and Marko Josilo with ten points. Carmichael also grabbed eight rebounds.
On the other side, Travante Williams scored 16 in addition to John Fields’s 12 points and 11 rebounds.
