Slovenian point guard Luka Rupnik (27, 1.86) have reached an agreement for next season. Rupnik is leaving ERA Nymburk after playing in the Basketball Champions League Final Eight to join the Spanish team, which also part of the same competition.
Rupnik had played in the past in Spain, for Montakit Fuenlabrada and also for Lleida, after starting his career in KD Slovan and then moving to Union Olimpija in his home country Slovenia.
Last year he played in Belgium for the Telenet Antwerp Giants, with which he averaged 9.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 6 assists in the Belgian league, winning the championship title and also being MVP of the Cup, while averaging 10.3 points and 3.3 assists in Basketball Champions League.
