Devon Hall inked a contract for the rest of the current season with Brose Bamberg, the German club announced Friday.
“I am very happy that I will get the chance to prove myself in European basketball,” said the former Oklahoma City Thunder guard, “Bamberg is a city with successful basketball history. I want to help us get back there. I always aim to win and I’ll show that in every game.”
The Basketball Champions League outlet was looking for a replacement after parting ways with Gerry Blakes. The 26-year-old American guard, Arizona State alumni, joined another BCL team, Cholet.
The incoming former Virginia standout was selected 53rd in the 2018 NBA draft. He went on to launch his pro career in Australia and played in ten NBA games last year with the Thunder. He also spent time in the G League attached to the Oklahoma City Blue.
In addition, Bamberg released Elias Lasisi. His brief stint with the team included his Champions League debut with two points and one rebound over 11 minutes in the win over Fortitudo Bologna.
